The “Orchid Web” site of the American Orchid Society has a comprehensive
online reference encyclopedia of orchids. It contains thousands of plant
descriptions with the specific cultivation techniques associated with
each plant. Each entry begins with the name of the orchid plant, a phonetic
spelling of the name along with audio sound bytes that pronounce the
name for you. There is an image of each orchid. There are many other
topics of interest as well.
